Editorial policy
The editorial standard is simple: publish what can be verified, show where it came from, date it, and say what is unknown.
Roles
- Editor
- Sam LLC editorial team
- Verification lead
- Sam LLC pharmacy verification specialists
- Medical reviewer
- Dr. S. Shuwart, MD — MBBS, Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine, 2017
- Editorial team
- Our editorial team includes independent health researchers, pharmacy verification specialists, and consumer protection analysts. Every article undergoes fact-checking against FDA databases, state pharmacy licensing records, and peer-reviewed research.
- Use of generative tools
- Drafts and page templates are produced with the help of generative tools working from a human-specified methodology. Every price is read by a person from the provider's own page or checkout and recorded with a date and source, and every clinical or regulatory claim is checked by the medical reviewer before a page is marked medically reviewed.
Rules
- No price, availability, legal or clinical statement is published from memory or from another comparison site.
- Introductory prices are labelled; "cancel anytime" is used only when a plan has no term and no notice period.
- Every page states its last-verified or last-reviewed date and links to its sources.
- Unknowns are stated as unknowns. A required fee a provider does not publish is named, not zeroed.
- Providers do not review or approve content about themselves before publication. Factual corrections from providers are handled through the corrections process.
- Rankings are produced by the published method; no provider ranks first by default.
